Justin Bieber Set to Release Seventh Studio Album This Friday

Pop icon Justin Bieber is preparing to release his much-anticipated seventh studio album on Friday, July 11, according to exclusive sources. The project, his first since Justice in 2021, will be released under Def Jam Recordings.

While Bieber and Def Jam have not officially commented, industry insiders confirm that the album includes high-profile collaborations with artists such as Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. Bieber has been seen recently promoting these artists on his social media platforms.

In April, the Canadian singer reportedly traveled to Iceland to finalize the album. Described by one source as a creative retreat, the trip included jam sessions and collaborations with various musicians. A billboard featuring Bieber and the word “Swag” has been spotted in both Iceland and Los Angeles, leading fans to speculate that Swag may be the title of the new album.

Recent posts from Bieber’s Instagram account suggest the album is ready for release, with behind-the-scenes photos showing tracklists and final mixes in progress within ProTools. Studio shots also hint that much of the music is in its completed form.

Musical contributors include Bieber’s longtime collaborators such as DJ Tay James and musical director HARV, as well as new creative partners like Carter Lang, known for his work with SZA, and Australian singer Eddie Benjamin. The project also involves British artist Sekou and producer Dylan Wiggins, who has credits with Kali Uchis and The Weeknd.

This marks Bieber’s first major music release since significant changes in his personal and professional life. In 2023, he parted ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun. More recently, he became a father with wife Hailey Bieber, who herself made headlines after selling her skincare brand, Rhode Beauty, to e.l.f. Beauty for a reported $1 billion. Braun was an early investor in the brand.

Their business dealings also included a high-value music catalog sale — Bieber's songwriting rights were sold to Hipgnosis Songs (now Recognition Music) for around $200 million, considered one of the biggest music deals for an artist under 30.

Despite challenges, including the canceled Justice tour in 2022 which left Bieber with financial obligations, sources indicate that any outstanding issues with Braun have now been resolved.

Bieber’s return to music after a four-year break has generated considerable buzz, and fans are eagerly awaiting what may be his most personal and collaborative work yet.
